About the role

The Head of School leads all academic and operational activities at a BASIS Charter School campus in the Phoenix metro area, fostering a culture of love of learning, collaboration, and measurable student success.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day academic operations and supervise faculty activities.
• Articulate and champion the BASIS mission and goals to faculty, parents, and students.
• Observe, evaluate, and support faculty in curriculum development and implementation.
• Build strong community relationships to support fundraising for teacher incentives and school programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in a school setting, preferably charter or independent.
• 2+ years of experience managing, leading, and motivating staff.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
