HDIS Sales Manager - Tampa, FL

About the role

The HDIS Sales Manager leads a team of commissioned Sales Consultants who sell Home Depot Installation Services (HDIS) product lines directly to customers' homes. The manager builds a high-performing selling culture through store connectivity, coaching and staffing of the team, and delivery of world-class customer service. The position typically reports to the Field Director Services and has up to 5 direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and prioritize business metrics, drive the sales team to meet territory targets and implement action plans to improve performance
• Drive customer service by responding to escalated customer inquiries and using relationships with installation partners
• Drive lead generation and build relationships with store partners, training them on HDIS products and services
• Recruit, coach, manage and retain a team of commissioned Sales Consultants, training them on the sales process and new products
• Monitor customer project progress and Voice of the Customer scores to protect the customer experience

Required profile

• Aged 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years of work experience preferred
• Preferred: proven experience leading, coaching and developing sales teams, including hiring, onboarding, performance accountability and retention
• Preferred: demonstrated ability to build a high-performance selling culture that meets sales targets and customer experience standards

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred
• Ability to analyze business metrics and drive results

Travel is typically required 5% to 20% of the time, and the role involves intermittent periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing and lifting.
