Gynecologic Advanced Ultrasound Specialist

About the role

The Gynecologic Advanced Ultrasound Specialist will join the OB/GYN team at Lehigh Valley Health Network’s largest maternity hospital, supporting over 3,000 births annually and serving as a referral center for regional facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced gynecologic and obstetric ultrasound examinations for inpatient and outpatient women’s health services.
• Collaborate with general OB/GYN physicians, hospitalists, maternal‑fetal medicine specialists, and midwives in the management of high‑risk patients.
• Participate in education, clinical research, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Board eligible or board certified.
• Current PA medical license (or ability to obtain one).
• 3‑5 years of clinical experience in obstetrics.
• Advanced Gynecologic Ultrasound training or willingness to be trained.

Required skills

• Advanced Gynecologic Ultrasound proficiency.
• Obstetric Ultrasound interpretation.
• PA clinical practice skills.
