Guest Service Agent – Part-Time

About the role

The Guest Service Agent greets, registers and assists guests in a friendly, courteous manner while upholding hotel brand and sustainability standards. This part‑time position supports front‑desk operations and contributes to overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, register them, assign rooms and verify payment methods.
• Make, confirm and modify reservations using the PMS system.
• Process bills, collect payments, provide change and handle safe‑deposit services.
• Answer telephone calls, transmit messages and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Resolve guest complaints or escalate to a supervisor when needed.
• Assist in the breakfast area or with luggage during peak periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous customer‑service experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lb and work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Property Management System (PMS) software.
