About the role
The GSIE Development Assistant provides administrative support to the Graduate School of International Education (GSIE) at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. This full‑time position assists with daily operations, coordination of events, and communication with students and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel for GSIE personnel.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Support the planning and execution of workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Maintain records, databases, and filing systems in compliance with university policies.
- Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and external partners.
Required profile
- Current University of Arkansas System employee (including student employees or graduate assistants).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Workday or similar HR/administrative platforms.
