Group Therapist – PRN (Part‑Time)

About the role

Connections Wellness Group seeks a PRN Group Therapist to facilitate psychoeducational and process groups within its Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patients’ journey toward long‑term wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups for patients.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Engage actively with the treatment team to coordinate care.
• Assist in creating and implementing an evidence‑based curriculum focused on skill‑building and symptom management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Current, unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) in the state of practice.
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health and substance‑use disorders, including dual‑diagnosis populations.
• Background working across higher levels of care such as inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of ethical guidelines and state/federal compliance (HIPAA, mandated reporting, etc.).
• Ability to maintain adequate professional liability insurance.
