Group Therapist – PRN (Mansfield, TX)

About the role

The Group Therapist (PRN) will facilitate psychoeducational and process groups, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and co‑facilitate therapeutic groups for individuals with mental health and substance‑use disorders.
• Complete and update individualized treatment plans in accordance with evidence‑based practices.
• Participate in a dynamic treatment team, contributing to curriculum development and implementation.
• Maintain PRN availability calendar, respond to coverage requests within 48 hours, and attend required trainings.
• Adhere to ethical, HIPAA, and mandated reporting standards while maintaining professional liability insurance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Current, unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCDC, etc.) valid in Texas.
• Experience with dual‑diagnosis populations across inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings.
• Knowledge of state and federal compliance regulations (HIPAA, mandated reporting).
