Group Therapist (PRN)

About the role

Connections Wellness Group is seeking a PRN Group Therapist I to facilitate psychoeducational and process groups, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a dynamic treatment team. This role supports patients in structured programs such as PHP and IOP, helping them build resilience and long‑term wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups for diverse patient populations.
• Develop, update, and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Engage actively with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Assist in creating and implementing an evidence‑based curriculum focused on symptom management and skill building.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Current, unencumbered clinical license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCDC) in the state of practice.
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, including dual‑diagnosis populations.
• Background working across inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ethical and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, mandated reporting).
• Maintain adequate professional liability insurance.
