Group Therapist – PRN

About the role

Connections Wellness Group seeks a Group Therapist I on a PRN basis to facilitate psychoeducational and process groups, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a dynamic treatment team in Arlington, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups for patients in PHP and IOP settings.
• Complete and update treatment plans in coordination with the treatment team.
• Assist in developing and implementing an evidence‑based curriculum focused on symptom reduction and skill building.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Current, unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) appropriate to Texas.
• Experience with mental health and substance‑use disorders, including dual‑diagnosis populations across inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of ethical, state, and federal regulations (HIPAA, mandated reporting, etc.).
• Maintain adequate professional liability insurance.
• Ability to update PRN availability calendar, respond to coverage requests within 48 hours, and attend required trainings.
