Groundskeeper / Porter – The Westlyn

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will ensure the community’s physical environment is well‑maintained, keeping the grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal at high standards. This role supports the service team and contributes to a pleasant living experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris and pet droppings, keeping all common areas and amenities clean.
• Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager, and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks in accordance with property policy and ensure pool gates and other access points are secure.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Willingness to follow established policies for lock changes and access control.
• Team‑oriented mindset to support service staff and collaborate with supervisors.
