Groundskeeper / Porter for Residential Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and safety of the Bluffs at Midway Hollow community in Dallas. You will ensure common areas, amenities, and the overall curb appeal meet Greystar’s high standards while supporting the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with unit turn‑around processes.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates function safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
