Groundskeeper – Main & Clay

About the role

The Groundskeeper ensures the community’s physical appearance is maintained to high standards, keeping grounds, amenities and curb appeal tidy while supporting the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep common areas and amenities neat.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments, transfer it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor and routine service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during turn processes.
• Change locks per property policy and ensure pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and handle maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training and report incidents.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and crawl in confined areas.
• Capability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and take on‑call duties.
