Groundskeeper

About the role

The Groundskeeper ensures the community’s physical appearance is maintained to high standards, keeping grounds, amenities, and common areas clean and attractive. This role supports the service team and contributes to overall resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests, assist the make‑ready specialist, and change locks per policy.
• Distribute resident notices, report hazards, and respond to maintenance complaints with courteous service.
• Follow safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and respond to on‑call duties.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.
