Groundskeeper for The Bailey at Amazon Creek

About the role

The Groundskeeper will maintain the physical appearance and safety of The Bailey community at Amazon Creek. This role supports the service team by ensuring common areas, amenities, and surrounding grounds are clean, functional, and inviting for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist with unit turnovers.
• Change locks per property policy and ensure pool gates meet safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety, able to identify and report hazards.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
