Grounds Keeper – The Province (Student Living)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Grounds Keeper to maintain the appearance and safety of The Province student‑living community in Louisville. The role focuses on keeping common areas, amenities, and outdoor spaces clean, orderly, and welcoming for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities remain tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or storage areas, and keep storage spaces clean.
• Complete minor and routine service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool‑area gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
