Graphic Designer

About the role

Amentum is seeking applications for a Graphic Designer. This is not an active opening: applications are being taken for future openings. The role develops graphics, digital media, cartography and other multimedia products, works closely with a UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, and coordinates with request management tools to deliver swift, high-quality customer support for communication requests.

Key responsibilities

• Create graphic designs for written and digital products, including web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos and other online content.
• Develop design concepts and implement designs while ensuring products meet production standards, copyright laws, accessibility requirements and public release clearances.
• Perform technical quality checks and manage approved concepts and builds in HTML/CSS that comply with responsive design principles.
• Provide cartography support as needed to design thematic and reference maps.
• Mentor and train junior staff.

Required profile

• TS/SCI with polygraph-level clearance required.
• Experience leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography and multimedia products.

• Compensation of $88,000 to $149,000 (estimate at the time of posting).
