Graphic Designer (Hybrid, Santa Monica)

About the role

Counter, a clean‑beauty startup, is looking for a Graphic Designer to translate its brand vision into compelling visual assets across digital, print and in‑person touchpoints. Working three days a week on‑site in Santa Monica, you will collaborate closely with the Creative Director and the Brand team in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Concept, design and produce visual assets for marketing campaigns, including email, web, paid ads, social media and brand‑partner education.
• Develop and maintain email marketing templates, triggered flows and support A/B testing in Klaviyo.
• Organise and curate assets in Brandfolder to ensure easy access for cross‑functional teams.
• Support e‑commerce website updates: upload, crop, format assets and coordinate pre‑launch timelines.
• Retouch, recolour and optimise imagery for site, email and other marketing channels.
• Uphold brand guidelines and proactively propose new visual concepts.
• Participate in weekly commercial and marketing meetings to align design work with business goals.

• Strong aesthetic judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to translate ideas into polished designs while respecting brand systems.
• Comfortable collaborating across product, marketing and e‑commerce teams.
• Thrives in a rapid, startup environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
