Grants Manager (Public Service Administrator, Option 2)

About the role

The Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice (IDJJ) is seeking a Grants Manager (Public Service Administrator, Option 2) to manage the Grants Management Unit. The position is under administrative direction and reports to the department. It is a full-time, salaried role in Springfield, IL, with an anticipated starting salary of $8,571-$10,571 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Under administrative direction, direct, plan, organize and oversee the Grants Management Program
• Provide strategic fiscal oversight and budget guidance
• Serve as full-line supervisor of professional fiscal staff engaged in grants and budget management activities
• Develop and enforce grant management policies and create, revise and enforce grant fiscal control procedures
• Direct and implement statewide fiscal control and grant management policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Required profile

• Previous experience developing and enforcing grant management policies
• Experience directing and implementing statewide fiscal control and grant management policies
• Experience creating, revising and enforcing grant fiscal control procedures
• Ability to act as a full-line supervisor of fiscal staff

What we offer

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, with an anticipated hybrid schedule of 1 to 5 days per week in the office
