About the role

The Graduate Student Trainee will provide community‑based therapy services to children and families, completing a required practicum as part of a graduate program in mental health.

Key responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and targeted case management.
Maintain accurate case records in the EXYM electronic health record system in compliance with California and Los Angeles County regulations.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, supervision, and professional training.

Required profile

Currently enrolled in an MFT, MPCC, MSW or related graduate program and approved for practicum placement.
Reliable automobile, valid California driver’s license and insurance; ability to travel to homes, schools, and community sites.
Pass pre‑employment screenings including background check, drug test and TB test clearance.
Ability to work 8‑10 onsite hours per week during regular clinical hours.
