About the role
This Graduate Assistant position supports laboratory and research activities within the School of Public and Allied Health at Prairie View A&M University. The role is designed for a full‑time graduate student seeking hands‑on experience in research and data management.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the computer lab and maintain research equipment.
- Support development and implementation of research projects, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Prepare reports, manuscripts, and presentations for scientific conferences and publications.
- Help draft research protocols, study designs, and questionnaires.
- Present research findings at conferences and meetings.
- Develop and maintain research databases and monitor academic literature.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support day‑to‑day operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Enrolled as a full‑time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University (minimum 9 credit hours fall/spring, 6 credit hours summer).
- Good academic standing.
