About the role

Saint Paul Public Schools is seeking a full‑time Grade 4 teacher for the L'Etoile du Nord French Immersion Elementary. The successful candidate will deliver core curriculum instruction in both English and French, fostering a bilingual learning environment for diverse learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects, integrating French language immersion.
• Utilize instructional resources and technology to support varied learning styles.
• Assess student performance, maintain records, and report progress to the principal.
• Communicate regularly with parents and participate in parent‑teacher conferences.
• Manage classroom behavior and enforce school policies.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to an inclusive school culture.

Required profile

• Valid Minnesota Elementary Education teaching license for Grade 4.
• Fluency in French, both spoken and written.
• Strong knowledge of core curriculum and multicultural teaching practices.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse student populations.
