Golf Course Superintendent

About the role

The Golf Course Superintendent leads all aspects of course and grounds maintenance at Crossing Creeks Country Club, ensuring top‑notch playability, safety, and aesthetics while managing staff, budgets, and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the 18‑hole course, landscaped areas, pool spaces, courts, parking lots and other club grounds to the highest standards.
• Oversee fertilizer and pesticide applications in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate maintenance and cart staff, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Plan and manage course improvement, remodeling and capital projects within budget.
• Develop and control annual operating and capital budgets, monitoring payroll, supplies and equipment costs.
• Communicate regularly with members, board and ownership about course conditions and project updates.
• Maintain accurate records for inventory, maintenance, pesticide applications and weather data.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on an 18‑hole course.
• 2‑year degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture or related field.
• Current state pesticide application license.
• Preferred GCSAA certification and experience with large‑scale renovation projects.
