Global Product Planner (Fixed Term)

About the role

Roche is hiring a Global Product Planner for a fixed-term position until the end of 2027, based in Indianapolis. The role sits at the heart of supply chain management, driving operational excellence and product availability across the Indianapolis and Mannheim, Germany hubs. It is an onsite role with up to two days per week working from home allowed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the global supply plan from affiliate forecasts and GSC strategic guidance, deliver it to manufacturing and supplier partners, and work with suppliers to meet agreed plans
• Monitor cycle time, critical batches, planning parameters, schedule adherence and system alerts, and recommend resolutions with minimal impact on customers
• Manage inventories at global distribution centers and affiliate inventories to meet service levels at the lowest cost, and support life-cycle management of product launches, conversions and phase-outs
• Own the accuracy of master data settings for planning and supply, and support direct delivery and replenishment
• Gather data and reports for planning processes such as Annual Planning and S&OP, and lead sub-project management with budget responsibility
• Carry out process and system analyses, run system tests, train users and present best practices; business travel under 10%

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• 5 years of experience in logistics, marketing, production, inventory control or purchasing with an international focus
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Project management skills

What we offer

• Expected salary range of $78,600 - $146,000 depending on experience, qualifications and location; a discretionary annual bonus may be available
