About the role
Anthropic is seeking a Global Power Delivery Equipment Lead to define and execute the company’s worldwide strategy for long‑lead power equipment that underpins its data‑center expansion. You will build and manage the global equipment function, liaise with OEM executives, utilities, and development partners, and ensure power‑system availability across all regions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead commercial negotiations and Master Purchase Agreements for critical power assets such as gas turbines, reciprocating engines, fuel cells, large transformers, high‑voltage switchgear, solar installations, and battery energy storage systems.
- Secure and manage OEM manufacturing slots, capacity reservations, deposits, delivery milestones, warranties, and liquidated‑damage provisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with OEM headquarters and regional leadership in North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Own the global power‑equipment strategy, translating site pipelines into equipment forecasts and procurement plans for both off‑grid and grid‑integrated configurations.
- Coordinate with energy origination, engineering, demand planning, construction, legal, finance, and third‑party partners to align equipment availability with project schedules.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading global procurement or equipment strategy for power‑generation and grid‑integration assets.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements with OEMs and manage capacity reservations across multiple regions.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with engineering, finance, legal, and construction teams.
