About the role

As the Global Post Development Manager at GibbsCAM, part of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions, you will lead a worldwide team responsible for the strategy, development, and support of CNC post processors – a critical component of CAM software success. This senior position reports directly to the President of GibbsCAM and offers flexible location options with up to 30% international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the global strategy for CNC post development, validation, and support.
• Set technical standards to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability across all post‑processor solutions.
• Guide teams working on advanced CNC technologies such as multi‑axis, mill‑turn, Swiss‑type, and complex machine kinematics.
• Act as the executive escalation point for high‑impact technical challenges.
• Explore emerging technologies, including AI‑driven development and automation, to enhance performance and customer value.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and regional leaders to translate market opportunities into technical capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams on a global scale.
• Strong track record of delivering innovative, customer‑focused solutions in a manufacturing or CAM software environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across cultures and time zones.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
