GIS Full Stack Developer (AI/ML Applications)

About the role

CACI is looking for a select GIS Full Stack Developer to join a professional IT team supporting the operational planning cycle for US Special Operations Command. The role works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting a Department of Defense organization in Fayetteville, NC, and involves planning, implementing, developing and maintaining AI/ML applications for a GIS enterprise. It requires a minimum TS/SCI security clearance and up to 10% travel outside the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Use advanced software development techniques to analyze, design and modify applications and databases for AI/ML models in a GIS enterprise environment.
• Develop, deploy and maintain custom geospatial intelligence solutions, including imagery, FMV and geospatial AI/ML solutions supporting SOF objectives.
• Support geospatial AI/ML initiatives by identifying, acquiring, transforming, analyzing and visualizing GIS datasets, including crisis planning and contingency response.
• Recommend technologies that improve the presentation and use of enterprise GIS products and contribute to integrated systems planning.

Required profile

• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 8 years of professional IT experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related quantitative field; or about 12 years of progressive experience managing the end-to-end software lifecycle.
• DOD 8570.01 certification, kept current.
• Excellent oral and written communication, project leadership, problem-solving and attention to detail.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and at least one application development language (e.g., C#, C++).
• Familiarity with SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and REST APIs.
• Desired: React, Node.js, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), geospatial data integration, DevOps methodology.
