General Warehouse Associate

About the role

AITrecycling is hiring a full-time General Warehouse Associate in Columbus, Ohio (West Columbus, 3854 Fisher Rd). The shift runs Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the position is advertised as closing on Tuesday, 27 June 2023. The pay rate is listed as $13-$16 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling, cleaning)
• Stage finished product for loading or storage
• Load and unload product from trucks and attend off-site pickups as assigned
• Test, sort, dismantle and process inventory
• Perform quality control of company product and operate within standard operating procedures
• Operate forklifts upon approval, perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and company vehicles, and maintain housekeeping
• Lock out equipment when not in use, check in received equipment and follow company policies

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, with basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Clean background; willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening
• Willingness to wear safety equipment such as eye protection, hearing protectors, work boots and hard hats
