General Manager – Studio Operations & Sales

About the role

The General Manager leads a fitness studio, driving membership sales, operational excellence, and an outstanding member experience. This role combines sales leadership, team development, and day‑to‑day studio management to achieve revenue targets and uphold brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive membership sales, manage lead generation, conversion, and retention to meet monthly revenue goals.
• Lead, recruit, train, and coach Sales Associates and support staff; create schedules aligned with labor budgets.
• Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, accurate reporting, payroll approvals, inventory control, and compliance with safety policies.
• Deliver high‑level customer service, resolve member concerns, and build strong member relationships to boost retention.
• Model accountability, communicate clearly with the team, and support district and company initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of management or leadership experience (preferred).
• Sales management and customer‑service experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in fitness, wellness, retail, or hospitality is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet performance metrics in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand, move throughout the studio, and lift up to 25 lb occasionally.

Required skills

• Experience using scheduling software.
• Familiarity with CRM tools.
