General Manager – Retail Store

About the role

Aaron’s, a leader in the sales and lease‑to‑own retail industry, is seeking a General Manager to lead one of its stores. This role combines profit‑and‑loss responsibility with team development in a high‑energy, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive overall store P&L, achieving growth and profit targets.
• Manage inventory supply, weekly reconciliations, and asset protection.
• Oversee lease agreements, renewals, returns, and customer service programs.
• Recruit, hire, train, and schedule associates to ensure optimal coverage.
• Maintain company vehicles, ensure safe operation, and handle bank deposits and merchandise certification.

Required profile

• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• High energy level with a professional appearance.
• Demonstrated selling and organizational skills.
• Experience in managing store operations and teams.

Required skills

• Safe driving skills and legal ability to operate a company truck.
