General Manager – Restaurant

About the role

The General Manager leads a high‑volume restaurant, ensuring profitability while delivering McDonald’s core standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness. Working closely with senior leadership, the GM sets performance goals and drives the team toward achieving them.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall restaurant operations to meet financial and service targets.
• Maintain McDonald’s critical customer standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Lead, coach, and develop Department Managers and Shift Managers.
• Set departmental goals, monitor progress, and provide corrective guidance.
• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling and staffing to ensure optimal coverage.
• Collaborate with the franchise owner on strategic planning and goal setting.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a high‑volume quick‑service or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Ability to drive results and manage multiple priorities.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
