About the role
As the General Manager of Residence Inn Tyler, you will be the driving force behind the hotel's daily operations, financial performance, and guest experience. Reporting to corporate leadership, you will ensure the property delivers exceptional service while meeting profitability targets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead revenue management initiatives to maximize income and control costs.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, manage the budget, and cultivate relationships with key accounts.
- Oversee reporting and technology tools to support efficient decision‑making.
- Ensure outstanding guest experiences by addressing issues promptly and maintaining high service standards.
- Inspire, coach, and develop the hotel team to achieve a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
- Act as the primary ambassador for the property, building relationships with owners, community leaders, and stakeholders.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in hotel or related hospitality operations, or equivalent education and experience combinations.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of Texas.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive financial results.
