General Clerk III – Lead

About the role

The General Clerk III – Lead supports Warriors in the Recruit Sustainment Program by handling administrative and personnel functions that prepare them for Initial Entry Training. The role involves data entry, quality control, and coordination with training managers.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain RMS Vulcan data, perform shipper quality control, and report shipper issues.
• Interview Warriors on administrative, medical, educational, and other topics; monitor retention issues and assist with mitigation.
• Manage IET ship dates, ensure training seat utilization, and provide qualitative screening for administrative correctness.
• Communicate with IADT Manager, MEPS Counselors, and ARNG liaisons; respond to RMS Vulcan tickets promptly.
• Oversee assigned General Clerk III staff, approve timesheets, compile state reports, and maintain regular attendance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation.
• 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of Army National Guard enlisted programs and benefits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Product Family.
• Experience with RMS Vulcan application and data entry.
• Familiarity with Army Training Requirements & Resources System (ATRRS).
