General Accountant – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our finance team at a leading precast concrete manufacturer. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and supporting operational decisions across our southeastern U.S. locations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up new projects and maintain data in the ERP system.
• Process, review, and approve invoices, performance bonds, and legal garnishments.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, recurring vouchers, and manage month‑end close on a rotating schedule.
• Generate monthly financial statements, management reports, and backlog analyses.
• Maintain lease databases, calculate revenue and cost allocations, and oversee fixed‑asset depreciation and tax schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ACA calculations, and audit support for asset and liability accounts.
• Collaborate with plant personnel and general managers to ensure timely and accurate financial information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• 7‑10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ERP systems.
