Future Talent Summer Internship at Wilson Packaging Site

About the role

The Future Talent Program offers a 10‑12 week summer internship at the Wilson, North Carolina packaging site, providing hands‑on experience in manufacturing, packaging, IT automation, quality, and supply chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in process improvement projects across areas such as demand planning, logistics, new product launch, data analytics, Lean/Six Sigma, IT automation, vaccine formulation, quality control, and maintenance.
• Support day‑to‑day activities and strategic initiatives to ensure right‑first‑time, cost‑effective measures that impact the end‑to‑end supply chain.

Required profile

• Motivated to develop leadership, technical, and business skills within packaging, filling, IT, maintenance, or quality operations.
• Adaptable, able to work independently, in teams, and lead teams, with a strong commitment to personal career growth.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma knowledge or experience
• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Project management and independent work capability
• Data analytics, IT automation technology, and engineering fundamentals related to packaging, quality control, or maintenance
