Future Talent Co‑Op – Packaging Component Engineering

About the role

The Future Talent Program offers a six‑month co‑op experience in the Manufacturing Division’s primary U.S. packaging site in Wilson, North Carolina. You will work on multiple projects that give direct exposure to pharmaceutical packaging development, equipment qualification, and process controls. This role provides a hands‑on opportunity to assess a long‑term career with the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and test primary and secondary packaging for solid oral dose, sterile, and combination products.
• Design, qualify, and qualify packaging equipment.
• Create and maintain packaging process documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support floor operations, respond to ad‑hoc issues, and manage supplier incident cases.
• Participate in component investigations, including travel to supplier sites as needed.
• Assist packaging engineers with studies, machine trials, and specification development.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Packaging Science or Packaging Engineering.
• Enrolled in an academic program and will return to university after the co‑op.
• Available for a full‑time six‑month assignment (May 31 2027 – Dec 17 2027).
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong project‑management, problem‑solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
