Funder – Escrow Funding Specialist

About the role

The Funder supports the Escrow Team by managing earnest money deposits, funding, and disbursement of real estate transactions. This position ensures financial components are handled accurately, timely, and in compliance with TitleOne’s escrow trust accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deposit, track, and reconcile earnest money checks; provide receipts and communicate with customers.
• Prepare, process, and disburse funds for all transactions, including printing checks, initiating wires, and following fraud prevention protocols.
• Review files prior to funding, balance trial balances, and upload final documents.
• Coordinate delivery, recording, and closing activities; communicate funding status to realtors, lenders, buyers, and sellers.
• Assist with shipping, recording, general file processing, and provide backup support for front‑desk and operational roles.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of escrow or closing experience.
• Working knowledge of real estate contracts, closing statements, lender requirements, and title commitments.
• Excellent phone and email communication, strong customer service, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with escrow systems and general office equipment.
