About the role

Santander is seeking a Full‑Time Teller for its Prospect Park West branch in Brooklyn. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while processing daily banking transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, transfers and cash handling while maintaining accurate drawer balances.
• Provide a welcoming experience, minimize wait times and promote self‑service digital tools.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities, refer appropriate bank products and support nearby branches as needed.
• Support custodial duties, audits and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience and 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Ability to follow policies, manage risk and work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication and multitasking skills.

Required skills

• Cash handling and basic math.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
• Comfort with digital tools for customer engagement.
