About the role

Join the nursing team at Samaritan Hospital as a full‑time Registered Nurse on a medical‑surgical unit. This day‑shift position offers the chance to deliver comprehensive patient care in a supportive, mission‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Lead and supervise assigned personnel to ensure plan execution.
• Maintain direct accountability to the Nurse Manager for quality of care.
• Provide age‑appropriate care in line with unit scope of services.
• When assigned as charge RN, oversee clinical and leadership functions for the unit.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of New York.
• Ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of RN experience.
