Full-Time Teller – Andover, MA

About the role

The Andover Center branch of Santander is seeking a full‑time Teller to deliver high‑quality service to its customers. In this role you will be the first point of contact, handling everyday banking transactions while supporting the branch’s operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times and address their banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and cash handling accurately.
• Maintain cash drawer balances and ensure compliance with bank policies and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify and refer opportunities to cross‑sell Santander products and services.
• Assist customers with digital self‑service tools and educate them on available options.
• Support audits, custodial duties and other operational tasks as required.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to provide a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow policies, identify risk and escalate concerns.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
