Full-Time Teller (30 hrs/week) – Brockton, MA

About the role

Santander is seeking a dedicated full‑time Teller to join its Brockton branch. In this customer‑focused role you will handle daily banking transactions, provide exceptional service, and help protect the bank against fraud while promoting our product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking needs.
• Handle cash accurately, maintain cash‑drawer balances, and follow all compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities, refer appropriate bank products, and educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Support branch operations such as custodial duties, audits, and occasional assistance to nearby locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months demonstrated customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow policies.
• Flexibility to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fundamental math skills for cash transactions.
