Full-Time Security Officer, Care Facility

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to work at a care facility serving clients in industries such as cultural institutions. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, keeps a visible presence to deter security incidents and supports a welcoming environment for visitors, residents and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff and guests by carrying out security procedures, site policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns and critical situations, following protocols and reporting requirements.
• Carry out regular and random unarmed patrols of the care center, including common areas, entrances, parking areas and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry and stay aware of individuals needing assistance.
• Document observations, incidents and patrol activities and share relevant information with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required depending on state and local law.
• A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
