About the role
The Department of Food Services at UHealth seeks a dedicated Full‑Time Sanitation Aide to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across assigned areas and equipment within the health system.
Key responsibilities
- Remove trash and replace container bags.
- Stock applicable areas with necessary supplies.
- Clean tile floors, restrooms, and equipment using approved chemicals.
- Dust, wipe surfaces, and vacuum carpeted floors.
- Respond promptly to service requests, spills, or incidents.
- Maintain sanitation equipment in good working condition.
- Follow university and unit policies, safeguarding assets.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant sanitation or cleaning experience.
- Commitment to the university’s core values.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Capability to understand and follow instructions.
