Full-Time Pharmacist

About the role

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a full‑time pharmacist to join its oncology specialty pharmacy in New Hyde Park, NY. The position works onsite Monday through Friday, 11:30 am – 8:00 pm EST, providing clinical and technical support to physicians, patients, and the healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and route of administration.
• Perform PV2 prescription verification to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a comprehensive patient database with medical history, lab data, and concurrent medications.
• Order, evaluate, and discuss necessary laboratory tests for high‑risk conditions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, document all communications, and implement safe drug procurement, storage, distribution, and disposal policies.
• Report medication‑related errors to the Pharmacy Manager and assist staff with safe drug handling procedures.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (Pharm D preferred).
• At least one year of experience in a specialty or oncology pharmacy (preferred).
• Knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
