About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Forklift Operator for the third‑shift (8 PM – 4:30 AM, Monday‑Friday) at its Maybrook, NY service center. You will operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock, moving freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers.
- Follow manifests and ensure accurate placement of goods.
- Use a computer display to track shipments and update records.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the dock.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) operations is a plus.
