About the role
Paul D. Camp Community College seeks a qualified full‑time Mathematics faculty member to join its teaching team across the Franklin, Suffolk, and Smithfield campuses as well as online. The position is a nine‑month, associate‑professor level appointment with a teaching load of 15‑20 credit hours per semester.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver mathematics courses using a mix of day, evening, weekend, and distance‑learning formats.
- Provide 15‑20 contact hours per semester and maintain at least ten student contact hours per week.
- Engage in scholarly and creative activities such as conference participation, research, publications, and grant work.
- Participate in departmental, college, and committee meetings and contribute to faculty development and evaluation processes.
Required profile
- Qualified to teach mathematics at the two‑year college level.
- Ability to teach a variety of courses and adapt to on‑ and off‑campus delivery methods.
- Commitment to student learning and institutional mission.
