Full-Time Marketing Specialist

About the role

Atlanta Technical College is seeking a full‑time Marketing Specialist to join its Communications, Marketing and Public Relations division. Reporting to the Vice President of CMPR, you will help shape the college’s brand, promote events, and keep the community informed through a variety of media channels.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns for the college under the guidance of the VP.
• Write and distribute news releases to local media outlets.
• Produce publications such as newsletters, brochures, annual reports, and catalogs.
• Plan, coordinate, and publicize special events and promotions.
• Manage the college’s social‑media presence and update the website with news and photos.
• Maintain the semester activity calendar and assist in marketing college services.
• Research and select promotional materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus three years of related work experience; a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Relations or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising principles, social‑media marketing, and target‑audience analysis.
• Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently.
