Full-Time Gastroenterologist – 4-Day Week & Call Rotation

About the role

Valley Medical Center in Renton, WA is seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified Gastroenterologist to join its collaborative GI team. The position is full‑time (1.0 FTE) with a four‑day work week and shared call responsibilities. The role includes clinic duties on the hospital campus and participation in inpatient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology consultations and procedures in the GI clinic.
• Participate in inpatient gastroenterology service, including endoscopic and ERCP procedures as needed.
• Share on‑call duties with six other GI providers and a GI hospitalist on a rotating schedule.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and dedicated medical assistants to deliver comprehensive care.

Required profile

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Gastroenterology (BE/BC).
• Eligibility to obtain a Washington State medical license and DEA registration with full prescriptive authority.
• Commitment to a full‑time schedule (1.0 FTE) and participation in the call rotation.

Required skills

• ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) – preferred.
