Full Stack Software Engineer – Backend Focus (Remote)

About the role

Imply is building the industry’s first Observability Warehouse, Lumi, and needs a Full Stack Software Engineer with a backend focus to help bring this high‑performance data layer to market. You will work remotely with a cross‑functional team to design, build, and ship user‑facing services that power identity, APIs, and billing for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise‑grade services and interfaces for identity, APIs, and billing.
• Collaborate closely with product, UX, and quality teams to deliver scalable, accurate, and secure features.
• Participate in continuous improvement of development processes and team workflows.
• Write resilient automated tests and conduct security audits for all new code.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in API or backend development.
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Java is preferred; alternatively, deep expertise in another statically‑typed language for micro‑service development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
