Full-Stack Robotics Engineer

About the role

Full-Stack Robotics Engineer at CircuitHub, working on The Grid – a factory-scale robotics platform that delivers high-mix, low-volume electronics assembly. The position is hands-on, on-site in Western Massachusetts for a minimum of two years, with the possibility of later relocation or remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Tune and maintain distributed GigE vision and camera networks across the production line.
• Diagnose and fix robot reliability issues, deploy new subsystems, and prototype mechanical or software solutions to improve throughput.
• Analyze end-effector behavior from video, revise geometry, and develop in-line PCB validation robots.

Required profile

• Proven experience building complete robotic systems, whether through hobby projects, academic work, startups or previous employment.
• Ability to integrate software, hardware, and process components and debug failures under real-world production pressure.

Required skills

• Python (low-level control) and C++ programming.
• Beckhoff TwinCAT for industrial PLC integration.
• Mechanical CAD using SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
• GigE Vision cameras, industrial sensors and motion-control systems.
