Full Stack Developer III - Private Markets Applications

About the role

Neuberger is looking for a hands-on Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join its technology team and help build the client-facing web and mobile platforms used by institutional and private markets investors. The role focuses on polished, performant and accessible front-end experiences, while also contributing to cloud-native architecture, data pipelines and observability. It is listed as hybrid (#LI-Hybrid).

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver polished, client-facing web experiences that meet the expectations of sophisticated institutional and private markets clients.
• Build scalable, high-performance front-end applications with a focus on component architecture, state management, data-fetching patterns, type-safe API contracts and robust error handling.
• Partner with UX/UI designers, product managers and business stakeholders to turn user research and client feedback into production-ready features.
• Ensure interfaces meet WCAG accessibility standards (minimum AA) and work consistently across browsers and devices.
• Help develop and maintain front-end design systems and component libraries.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for accurate, timely data movement, and contribute to cloud-native architecture using containerization, serverless computing and modern DevOps.
• Deliver production applications instrumented with OpenTelemetry, and contribute to mobile app development as needed.
• Explore automation and workflow improvements with Python.NET, NodeJS or other tools, review code, mentor developers and collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps and data engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications, with a strong emphasis on front-end engineering.
• Demonstrated experience shipping client-facing or externally accessible web applications, accountable for UX quality, performance and reliability.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving and attention to detail, able to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment.
• Right to work in the country where the role is located without sponsorship; applicants must be authorized to work there.

Required skills

• React and TypeScript, including SPA architecture, component libraries (Material UI, shadcn/ui), CSS, theming and web performance (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting, caching)
• SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or CosmosDB
• ETL pipelines and data flows, Docker/containerization and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud-native, secure applications with identity-aware authentication, secrets management and least-privilege access
• Nice to have.NET, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Azure (Container Apps, Entra ID), mobile development, OpenTelemetry, financial services experience, AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) and Agile/Scrum experience

What we offer

• Salary range of $110,000-$135,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
